RAN RELIEF TRUST FUND (RTF)
The RANRTF provides assistance in the form of General
Purpose Loans of up to $4,000 and Special Loans of up to $3,000
for medical and dental, legal, funeral, unexpected domestic debt
and education expenses. Home Management Services Grants of up
to $2,000 and Family Support Services Loans of up to $3,000.
As a non-public Fund, the RANRTF does not receive
funding from the Defence Budget. The only
sources of income for the fund are donations from the RAN Central
Canteens Fund and interest accrued from investments.
During the previous FY the RANRTF received a grant of $87,000
from the RANCCF.
